NYE in Sydney

How to spend New Year’s Eve in Sydney

Spending NYE in Sydney is a bucket list item for many people, travellers and locals alike.  For the last 12 years, I have been sharing information on the best places in Sydney to view the New Year’s Eve fireworks show.

I curate and maintain a New Year’s Eve in Sydney Megalist that includes tips on how to choose the best viewing spots, parties, cruises and restaurant options.  From October to December this list is regularly updated to show which tickets are still available.

I have reviewed all the places I have attended including free and ticketed areas, harbour islands, NYE harbour cruises and even the balloted area on the Cahill Expressway. Read over these and see which one sounds like the right choice for you.

If you still have questions pop on over and join our friendly Sydney Expert Facebook Community where you can ask questions and get advice from me directly and also from a friendly bunch of locals who love to help.

We would also love to hear about your NYE experiences so come on over and share your thoughts.
