If you are planning on being in the mountains for Christmas, I would not hold off on your decision on where to eat for too long. Bookings are going quickly with some venues like the Fairmont Resort and Victoria and Albert Guest House already sold out for Christmas lunch.

Jamisons View Restaurant – Mountain Heritage Hotel

Hotel Mountain Heritage, one of the original grand hotels of the region will host a six-course dinner on Christmas Eve.

Enjoy a traditional Christmas feast that will feature orange bourbon glazed ham off the bone with all the Christmas trimmings. There will also be herb crusted lamb rack and plum pudding. A full vegan menu is also available.

Christmas Day will also include a visit from Santa and live festive entertainment.

If you are in the mountains before Christmas don’t miss the chance to enjoy high tea at Bygone Beauties.

A Devonshire tea or full English high tea is available and of course you can explore the stunning teapot collection while you are there.
